Together with the Faculty of Applied Social Sciences, a Wendo course will take place in Krefeld from 10 am - 5 pm.
Wendo is used for self-defense and self-assertion. In the course, participants learn to be self-confident, to recognize and assess dangers and to set boundaries at an early stage.

Our brain is confronted with over two million impressions every second. To cope with this amount of information, it therefore uses shortcuts in the form of prejudices. The input provides an overview of different types of unconscious biases and clarifies how they affect our everyday lives. In which subject areas do unconscious biases play a role (e.g. application procedures, artificial intelligence, risk assessment, etc.)? What do they have to do with stereotypes and discrimination? And: What options are there to reduce them?
