Assessment centres are an integral part of many recruitment and staff development processes. In this training session, you will learn what to expect, how to prepare effectively and how to present yourself authentically and confidently in such a setting. It will also explore how a decision that is beneficial to both parties – the organisation and the candidate – can be reached.
A varied mix of theoretical input, practical assessment centre exercises in individual and group settings, feedback and open discussion will give you the opportunity to familiarise yourself with typical situations, try things out and reflect on the impression you make.
The training is specifically aimed at students who wish to make an application for roles in a demanding professional environment in the near future. The aim is to prepare you for assessment centres with a practical orientation and to equip you with the necessary knowledge, self-confidence and tools for a confident performance.
Register via HiO by 19 October at the latest.
Take part in the Career Challenge!
Attend two Career Service workshops during Campus Week and complete a learning pathway on Moodle and register by 3 November 2026 at workshops(at)hs-niederrhein.de by 3 November 2026, stating that you have completed the challenge. This will put you in the prize draw!
