What is true? When is what true? Why is it not male? Is the truth unique, or are there many of them? Why is the first victim of war the truth? Are there places that are truer than others? How do science, ideology and faith relate to truth?

How much truth can love tolerate, how much love can truth tolerate? Truth has many facets: In mathematics, truth requires freedom from contradiction; in religion, on the other hand, contradiction seems to be a condition for believing in the existence of a god; in history, truth is always a fragment; in art, beauty is attempted as an expression of truth and in the media, a battle rages over it, ..., there are many positions on truth that will be discussed in the winter semester in order to illuminate truths about truth. With lectures by experts from a wide range of disciplines, from the natural sciences, religion, history, politics, art, ...
