Lecture and discussion
The general population still has a strictly binary view of gender. The perception of many people is so selective that they do not even allow non-binary people in their minds. As a result, the needs of non-binary people are overlooked on an institutional, societal and interpersonal level.
As changes such as the Self-Determination Act seem to increase the mental resistance of the cis population, we welcome Sascha Thierry Esequiyl Rubel (no pronouns) to the Asta-Keller on 13 November at 6pm.
Sascha Thierry Esequiyl Rubel will shed light on the topic and also address how queerphobia is historically intertwined with other forms of domination.
