Current research and trends in biomedical engineering at BMT2023

The 57th Annual Meeting of the German Society for Biomedical Engineering BMT2023 will be held in Duisburg from September 26 to 28. Visitors will be offered a wide range of topics, current research and trends. In addition, BMT2023 will be accompanied by an industry and trade fair.

BMT2023 is one of the largest platforms for European scientists, physicians, researchers, students and young academics to exchange knowledge and experiences on the latest biomedical trends and findings. The 57th Annual Meeting of the German Society for Biomedical Engineering (BMT2023) will take place from September 26-28 at the Mercatorhalle in Duisburg (Landfermannstraße 6, 47051 Duisburg, Germany).

On the occasion of this year's Biomedical Engineering Conference in the Rhine-Ruhr region, the scientific directors Professor Dr. Gudrun Stockmanns (Hochschule Niederrhein) and Professor Dr. Karsten Seidl (University of Duisburg-Essen) cordially invite all interested parties to attend. The visitors will be offered a wide range of topics from the fields of basic research, applied research, clinical research and medical application.

Numerous lectures, poster presentations and discussion forums will address established topics such as robotics or implants. In addition, current trends such as digital health, artificial intelligence or nanotechnology are on the agenda.

BMT2023 will be accompanied by an industry and trade exhibition and offers visitors the chance to learn about current developments and to network. The conference has a special offer for students and young academics: for the promotion of young talent, there is the Young Forum and the format "Healthcare meets Engineering", a discourse of physicians and engineers with the involvement of the (university) clinic partners. Workshops on the topic of quantum sensors will also be offered.
