The group was joyfully welcomed by Pepper and his colleagues. The group was also welcomed by the new Dean Prof. Dr. Pernice with a few short words about the university and the Faculty of Industrial Engineering. Afterwards, the lab director Prof. Kleutges and
students Luca Trockle and Jan Sawicki informed the students and teachers about the current teaching education and research topics such as 3D scanning and 3D printing, swarm robotics, dart playing humanoid robots and more in the robotics lab. The students also took advantage of the convenient opportunity to ask questions about studies at the Hochschule Niederrhein and the Faculty of Industrial Engineering. The event was rounded off by a joint lunch (unfortunately without Pepper and Co. due to a lack of alternatives on the menu) in the cafeteria. Pepper and Co. are nevertheless already looking forward to a return visit to Grefrath.
