Career opportunities, networking and humour: On 22 April 2026, The Hochschule Niederrhein (HSNR), the Mönchengladbach Economic Development Agency, the MGconnect Foundation and Krefeld Business are inviting you to a recruiting event on the Krefeld South Campus (Obergath 79, Building J). Under the title "Ich lach' mich Job", the classic career fair concept will be rethought and combined with an entertaining comedy format. From 14:00, students, especially from engineering degree programmes, and companies will meet at the exhibition stands in the J building.
Exhibitor places are still available: For companies, "Ich lach' mich Job" offers the opportunity to present themselves visibly on the HSNR campus and to make contact with qualified young talent at an early stage. As places are limited, the organisers ask you to register. Interested companies can find more information about the event and registration at:

"We want to facilitate casual conversations in an open atmosphere so that students can make their first professional contacts during their studies," says Désirée Krüger from HSNR's Career Service. The aim of the format is to break down inhibitions and enable personal discussions about internships, theses and starting a career.
The special highlight comes in the second part of the event: every conversation between students and companies counts! QR codes are used to record the conversations held during the event. At the end of the event, the minutes spent talking will be converted into performance time for the well-known comedians Khalid Bounouar and Assane Badiane. The degree is rounded off with a professional comedy show that rewards all participants for their commitment. Khalid Bounouar has been active as a stand-up comedian for many years, is an official member of RebellComedy and has appeared in numerous stage and TV programmes, including as host of the "Quatsch Comedy Show" on ProSieben. Assane Badiane, winner of the German Comedy Award in the "Best Newcomer" category, began performing stand-up comedy at an open mic event in 2022 and has established himself on the German comedy scene with his personal observations of everyday life and direct style.
