Krefeld. On 6 and 7 February 2026, the Faculty of Design at The Hochschule Niederrhein (HSNR) will open its doors to the faculty exhibition on the Krefeld West campus at Frankenring 20. Current studies and theses from various design disciplines will be presented, providing a comprehensive insight into the creative and practically oriented studies at the faculty.
The faculty exhibition will open on Friday, 6 February with a graduate celebration from 6 pm. On Saturday, 7 February (11 a.m. to 5 p.m.), visitors will have the opportunity to discover the diverse work of the students: work from the fields of graphic design, editorial design and typography, photography, experimental object and interior design as well as ceramic, porcelain, glass and textile design will be presented.
Prospective students will be given an insight into studying design at the HSNR in the lecture "Your design - your studies" (Saturday, 1 pm). Portfolio advisory services for the aptitude interview will also be offered. Visitors can get to know the Faculty of Design better during hands-on activities as well as workshop and campus tours.
The programmes include Bachelor's degree programmes in Communication Design and Product and Object Design as well as a Master's degree programme. Since the winter semester 2025/2026, the new area of specialisation in Game Design has also expanded the faculty's profile.
