On February 9 and 10, the Faculty of Design invites you to this year's faculty exhibition. Students and graduates will present their semester and theses at the Krefeld West campus (Frankenring 20) of The Hochschule Niederrhein (HSNR).
The two-day faculty exhibition will open with a vernissage on Friday (February 9, 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.). On Saturday (February 10, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.), visitors can also view the diverse work of the students: From typography, editorial design, lead and screen printing to design products from the Project and Object Design degree program. "We are proud of our tradition in design education. We invite the public to see what design teaching in Krefeld means and what creativity it produces even in these challenging times," says Professor Dr. Erik Schmid, Dean of the Faculty of Design at HSNR.
The faculty exhibition will be rounded off by a diverse supporting program consisting of lectures on studying design at the HSNR, the 120-year history of design education and the design of public spaces. Visitors will also have the opportunity to take part in guided tours of the campus and visit workshops such as the model making workshop. On Saturday, prospective students can come to the Shedhalle at 2 p.m. for individual portfolio advisory services. Admission to the faculty exhibition is free.
