Designer Anne Franke as a guest at the "Less Walkin More Talkin" lecture series

On Wednesday, 11 June, Anne Franke, designer at the renowned Munich studio Rose Pistola, will be a guest at the Less Walkin More Talkin (LWMT) lecture series at the Department of Design at Hochschule Niederrhein (HSNR). She will give her lecture "WHY DESIGN" in the Audimini (Frankenring 20, main building, room N116). Admission is free.

As part of a team of eight, she develops brand appearances with concept, attitude - and a preference for targeted design between unconsciously bad and consciously good. After graduating from HSNR in 2014 with a focus on typography, she worked in various design fields - from editorial design in publishing to freelance projects. She is interested in typography, quirky details, grids and order - but also in breaking them, spontaneous ideas and design with substance.

Less Walkin More Talkin is a lecture series at the HSNR's Department of Design. Nora Gummert-Hauser, Professor of Typography and Editorial, has been inviting interesting personalities from the field of communication design since 2014 to introduce students, teachers and interested parties to a broad, practical spectrum of design disciplines.
