Faculty of Design at HSNR invites you to the career entry fair

The career entry fair "designberufe rufen!" will take place on May 15.

School or university degree (soon) in the bag - and now? If you're interested in the design profession but don't yet know what opportunities it opens up, you've come to the right place on May 15: The Hochschule Niederrhein (HSNR) Faculty of Design invites all students, graduates, prospective students, pupils and young professionals to the career entry and career fair "designberufe rufen!" from 11 am to 3 pm. At this special event in the Shedhalle on the Krefeld West campus, Frankenring 20, visitors will gain exciting insights and make contacts in the expanding world of work in the design industry. Admission is free.

This format, which is unique to a design campus in North Rhine-Westphalia, is now taking place for the seventh time. The fair brings together practitioners, theorists and students. The presentation of the design and creative industries supports students in their step into the professional world.

"designberufe rufen" is aimed at students of Design, Computer Science, Marketing and Business Administration and Economics as well as high school graduates and vocational school students who want to get to know the diverse fields of work in design.

Companies from the fields of communication and product design such as Scholz & Friends, dreiform or ZUM GOLDENEN HIRSCHEN, representatives of the Association of German Industrial Designers (VDID) and the HNX start-up consulting team from The Hochschule Niederrhein will be on site. A good opportunity to find out about internships, training places, job profiles and career opportunities. An interesting lecture program with guests from the fields of communication and product design will run in parallel.

"The design industry is a fast-growing segment of the German economy. It offers a wide range of entry-level and career opportunities. This is precisely why personal contacts and first-hand information are essential," says Prof. Dr. Erik Schmid, Dean of the Faculty of Design.
