HSNR takes part in supra-regional theme days on doubts about studying

Students with doubts about their studies and thoughts of dropping out can obtain information at 19 university locations at the supra-regional "Study Doubts Days".

Throughout January, students can obtain free and mainly digital information on the topic of study doubts at the 19 university locations in NRW.

Anyone struggling with the choice of university or degree programme can find out more at the supra-regional "Study Doubts" days. For the fourth time, 19 universities in North Rhine-Westphalia are organizing this offer of help on topics such as changing subjects and universities, apprenticeships, alternative career paths or career orientation. Throughout January, students can obtain information free of charge and mainly digitally at the 19 university locations in NRW. The NRW-wide program is aimed at both doubters and students with serious thoughts of ending their studies without a degree.

The Hochschule Niederrhein (HSNR) is participating in the series of events with the online workshop "Making decisions with a clear conscience". On 25.01.2024 (10 to 11 a.m.), Lara Blumenkamp, coach for doubts about studying and dropping out at the HSNR, will work with participants to find out which tools can help them make decisions.

Many young people are familiar with questioning their own studies. At the same time, doubts and thoughts of dropping out are still a taboo subject in society. The participating universities from NRW want to break with this. The theme days are organized as part of the supra-regional "NEXT CAREER" funding programme and are financed by the Ministry of Culture and Science of the State of NRW (MKW).
