The Hochschule Niederrhein was strongly represented at this year's international conference of the German Society for Operations Research with four participants. Among them was Prof. Goebbels from the iPattern Institute.
During his practical phase, our computer science student Timo Pfeiffer worked together with Prof. Goebbels on the automation and mathematical optimization of group assignments for exercises and internships. This resulted in a conference paper, the presentation slides of which are available via the link below.
