Library Day will take place on October 24, 2026 at the Mönchengladbach Campus Library and will focus on the theme “Games.Fun.Library.”
Join us for a fun afternoon where you can try out our new board, card and dice games. You’ll also have the chance to solve our escape room “The Source Thief” that day.

Our two escape rooms, “The Source Thief” and “The Key Thief,” take place twice a year, alternating regularly between the Krefeld South and Mönchengladbach campus library.
We’ll announce the dates in advance on social media and the library’s website.

Felix is in the middle of submitting his bachelor's thesis, but a small mistake could cost him his degree. During his final review, he discovers an incorrect citation and has to check the original source at the library. But as soon as he steps into the library, a race against time begins. Can you work as a team to find the right source so Felix can submit his thesis on time?
Laura Wagner is about to turn in her master’s thesis, but one crucial detail could cost her a successful completion: Without the Nexys 3 board, which she urgently needs to put the finishing touches on her work, she won’t be able to finish her thesis on time. The board is safely locked away in her locker at the Krefeld South Library—and unfortunately, the staff is no longer on duty. The clock is ticking, and every minute counts. Can you, as a team, track down the key and get it to Laura in time to access the board before it’s too late?
