The degree programme qualifies students to work directly with people of all ages who require care in various Health Care facilities. The focus here is on further developing the quality of care based on evidence and on developing and critically scrutinising practical and interdisciplinary solutions to problems. Students should acquire the skills to participate in quantitative and qualitative studies and evaluations. This requires the confident handling and mastery of scientific instruments and methods for carrying out complex nursing interventions. With the Master's degree (Master's degree programme in planning), students should gain the independence and personal responsibility to do this.
More and more facilities are currently creating positions for this target group in order to improve the quality of care in their own facilities. These are, for example, Support Offices at the Nursing Directorate as nursing experts or Support Offices in nursing quality development.
