Industrial Engineering and Management (B.Sc.)

Hochschule Niederrhein. Your way.

Short description

The Bachelor's degree programme in Industrial Engineering combines the world of business administration with the world of technology - and thus offers immeasurable opportunities. Graduates understand both sides and are therefore able to take a holistic view of complex problems, solve them and thus optimise a company's operations. As generalists, industrial engineers can work in a wide range of industries and positions, from sales representatives to technical purchasing to production managers. For example, in the automotive industry, a wide range of mechanical engineering companies or logistics - with excellent prospects, because industrial engineers are in demand. Thanks to the broad basis of your studies, many options are open to you later in terms of specialisation and career.

At our university, Industrial Engineering is housed in its own Faculty of Industrial Engineering - in its own modern building, with a large number of laboratories, helpful staff and highly qualified professors with a practical application background.

Our flexible degree programme options allow you to tailor your studies to suit different needs. The modular Bachelor's degree programme extends over six semesters in full-time studies, with up to 12 semesters possible in a part-time version. In consultation with a company, individualised trainee studies are also possible.
