Short description

The Master's degree programme in Energy Management Engineering offers you the opportunity to play an active role in shaping the energy transition. Offered since 2011 and revised in 2019, this degree programme provides you with a comprehensive understanding of energy from the perspective of both energy management and energy technology. The interdisciplinary approach enables you to view the energy transition as a whole and solve complex tasks in this area.

In close cooperation with the SWK E² - Institute of Energy Technology and Energy Management, a research cooperation with a local energy supplier, you will benefit from practical research projects and will be able to work on real projects during your studies. The university teachers / lecturers on this degree programme come from various disciplines and will teach you a wide range of skills from Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Business Administration.

As a graduate, you will be optimally prepared for the new professions in the energy industry and the service sector. You will be able to develop creative, technically feasible and economically viable solutions for the energy transition.
