Strategies to combat procrastination and foster greater personal responsibility
Is social media more appealing than uni, and do you sometimes find it hard to overcome your inner procrastinator?
In this workshop, you’ll learn why procrastination isn’t a character flaw, but a pattern you can break. Here’s what it’s all about: Understanding motivation: what really drives you – and what holds you back; Overcoming procrastination: Recognising and changing typical procrastination mechanisms; Disarming perfectionism: Expectations vs. progress – without holding yourself back; Strengthening personal responsibility: Making decisions, setting priorities, staying on track.
You’ll develop personal goals that suit you, work out a plan of action and gain clarity, structure and a greater sense of control. Whether it’s coursework, exam preparation or a project: if you want to put things off less and get more done – without overwhelming yourself in the process – this workshop is for you.
