Dear colleagues, students and interested parties,
Universities are central places of education and bear a special responsibility for social development, critical reflection and social participation. At the same time, they are characterised by intersectional power and inequality relations. The university-wide symposium opens up a space to make social diversity visible, to critically examine existing power and inequality relations and to jointly reflect on how educational areas as well as other social structures can be designed in a diversity-conscious, accessible and discrimination-sensitive manner.
We invite employees, students and interested parties to actively participate in this symposium. Let's work together to promote a university culture that is critical of discrimination and power and to permanently anchor anti-discrimination as a central value in the university context.
