The Hochschule Niederrhein's nursing team would like to invite you to our symposium on Carers' Day 2026.
The following topics are on the agenda on 19 May 2026 under the motto "Person-centred care: Let's get to work!"
- Enrole Acute Project - Extended roles for nurses for person-centred care of people with cognitive impairments in hospital | Martin Dichter, Ph.D
- Person-centred care for people with incontinence, stoma and tracheostoma | Lina Wiemer, Merle Hagemeister and Antonia Ziemer
- Person-centred communication - The Process Communication Model as a helpful construct |Dr Silke Rosumek and Katherine Vaughn
Valuable input lectures will be followed by interactive workshops. Selected bachelor's theses and project assignments from the Nursing degree programme will also be presented.
After a final round, there will be space and time for further exchange at the "Grill & Chill" on the Krefeld South Campus.
