On 09.02.2024, Dr. Rehagel was a guest speaker at the Veterinary Public Health Seminar in Hanover, where she gave a lecture on the topic "Relevance of mycotoxins in new foods".
The lecture was embedded in a program on the topic of "New foods - new monitoring?", which, in addition to an overview of new foods, also dealt with their evaluation as well as experiences and contradictions from practical application. Against the background of the increasing demand and corresponding supply of milk and meat substitute products, the tasks for monitoring and science as well as aspects of sustainability, risk assessment and nutritional evaluation were discussed.
