Since the beginning of the year, the Niederrhein Institute for Regional and Structural Research (NIERS) has been working with six partners to raise the profile of the euregio rhein-maas-nord as a cross-border education region. The project partners are the cities of Krefeld, Mönchengladbach and Venlo, the WFMG and WFG Krefeld as well as the Fontys International Business School in Venlo. The project is being carried out as part of the INTERREG Germany-Nederland programme and will run for three years (1.1.19 - 31.12.21).
