During this semester's Campus Week at The Hochschule Niederrhein, NIERS was represented with a workshop entitled "Sustainable management: How can it work?". Angelika Krehl and Florian Grebe led the exciting dialogue with participants from a wide range of disciplines - from business administration and textiles to Early Childhood Education - and discussed questions relating to sustainable economic models, regional transformation and their implications with the students. The specialisation was on the so-called donut model as a framework concept for a sustainable economy and possible corporate restructuring to do justice to this.
Campus Week offers students the opportunity to think outside the box and take part in workshops and lectures from other faculties in order to expand their own skills and ways of thinking, learn about new perspectives or simply take a look at topics outside of their own studies.
