The 15th Summer Conference of the Society for Regional Research took place on 26 and 27 June 2025 at the Future Work Lab in Krefeld. Organised by NIERS, this year's theme was "Entrepreneurship and Regional Development in Times of Transformations" and researchers presented their findings. Ebru Sarikaya gave a presentation on the challenges and resources of women with a migration background in the start-up sector for the RediStar project, which is organised in cooperation between NIERS and SO.CON. The conference not only offered valuable insights, but also excellent networking opportunities. The inspiring keynotes and discussions sponsored an exchange on innovative approaches to regional development. The project team is looking forward to integrating the insights gained into future work.
