Separate workshops were held for representatives of the regular public structures and migrant organisations, mainly from the three case study cities of Cologne, Krefeld and Mönchengladbach, to analyse the current status of start-up advice. The focus was on reflecting on their own processes, identifying needs and core competences and sounding out previous collaborations.
The results and the new knowledge are now entering the next phase. Building on this jointly developed basis, apprenticeships are being designed to train start-up pilots and develop train-the-trainer formats. Both serve the goals of RediStar to support women with a history of migration in a more concrete and diversity-sensitive way on the path to starting a business and to enable sustainable cooperation between the stakeholder groups.
The RediStar team is delighted with the response to the workshops. Both the public start-up advice service and the migrant women's organisations emphasised the interest and potential they see in the topic of start-ups by women with a migration history. With between 13 and 21 participants, the project can be proud of itself.
RediStar would like to thank all participants for their constructive openness to share knowledge and exchange ideas and the VKI for providing the premises and hospitality!
