The six advisory board members present included Anna Appenzeller (Krefeld Business), Elke Ariens (City of Mönchengladbach), Wolfgang Ropertz (City of Krefeld), Sebastian Schmetz (City of Krefeld), Heinrich Wallrafen (Sozialholding Mönchengladbach) and Roman Wolf (Netzwerk Nachhaltigkeit LAG 21). They were first given an overview of the initial situation, motivation and objectives of the project as well as the conceptual framework and methodological approach. The presentation of the case study work on the "Initiative Dahlien Mönchengladbach. Young initiative of committed residents in Dahl" in Mönchengladbach provided a first insight into the practical application and the planned empirical research. The subsequent discussion resulted in valuable suggestions and pointers for further possible case studies in Mönchengladbach and Krefeld.
