Young talent award for counselling in education, careers and employment

Who can apply?
Degree programme graduates from an educational or counselling science field, psychology and human resources management who have dealt with a topic in their thesis that provides relevant impetus for the practice of counselling in education, careers and employment are eligible to apply. This explicitly includes work on the professional orientation of young people in the transition from school to work and on the professional reorientation or reorientation of adults. For reasons of fairness, graduates with a higher academic degree (doctorate) and/or those with many years of professional experience in counselling practice, research and teaching education cannot be admitted to the selection process, as they can no longer be considered young professionals. (In case of doubt, please contact us.) The submission is made either by the graduates themselves or by the examiners.
What requirements must the work to be submitted fulfil?
Master's theses with a very good grade that were completed and/or assessed in 2024 can be submitted. In justified exceptional cases, other outstanding theses of comparable scope and quality will also be accepted (e.g. particularly well-founded Bachelor's theses). A recommendation, ideally a short report from the examiner(s), together with details of the grading, must be submitted. The theses should have a scientific basis, but above all deal with a practical emphasis / orientation. Papers can be submitted on concepts, methods and instruments that contain or directly allow the most concrete practical transfer possible for BBB counselling and guidance.
