The SWK E² Institute for Energy Technology and Energy Management organised the 2nd project meeting in the BiliOpt project with the project partners and the project support committee (companies from industry, the energy sector and planning).

In a hybrid meeting, the project partners GFaI, perpendo Energie- und Verfahrenstechnik GmbH and SWK E² met with the project organiser and members of the project support committee.

The BiliOpt project is researching the use of bilinear terms in the modelling and optimisation of energy systems. The results of the first two work packages were presented at the 2nd project meeting. The first work package comprises the classification of use cases. In the second work package, evaluation criteria for the optimisation methods are defined.

At a workshop, the members of the project committee were able to actively participate in the prioritisation of the use cases and vote on the weighting of the evaluation criteria.
