This time we are meeting at the Future Work Lab in Krefeld and have the opportunity to experience an exciting presentation outside of working hours and then have an informal chat over a small snack.
Staying on task more easily: strategies for more focus and efficiency
In her lecture, Professor Lena Evertz will present current scientific findings and practical tips on the topics of mindfulness and mind wandering.
Mind wandering refers to the phenomenon when our thoughts wander and we can no longer consciously concentrate on a specific task or situation. Research is increasingly showing that mind wandering can have a negative impact on well-being and productivity.
In this lecture, we will learn how we can promote mindfulness and reduce mind wandering in everyday (professional) life.
As Professor of Human Resource Management at The Hochschule Niederrhein, Professor Evertz conducts research on topics such as resilience and mindfulness in companies.
