Professor Lena Evertz spoke about current scientific findings and practical tips on the topics of mindfulness and mind wandering.
Mind wandering refers to the phenomenon when our thoughts wander and we can no longer consciously focus on a specific task or situation. Research is increasingly showing that mind wandering can have a negative impact on well-being and productivity.
The presentation showed how we can promote mindfulness and reduce mind wandering in everyday (professional) life.
As Professor of Human Resource Management at the Faculty of Business Administration and Economics at Hochschule Niederrhein, Professor Evertz conducts research into topics such as resilience and mindfulness in companies.
Afterwards, there was the opportunity to exchange ideas in a relaxed atmosphere.
Many thanks to Professor Evertz for her commitment!
