Review of the panel discussion "Violence against women: Perspectives for change"

On November 20, the Orange Days activities kicked off with a hybrid panel discussion entitled "Violence against women: Perspectives for Change" took place.

With over 70 participants on site and online, we were able to provide a successful introduction to this hugely important topic.

We would like to thank Gerhard Hafner, psychologist and HeForShe ambassador for UN Women, Professor Sandra Glammeier from The Hochschule Niederrhein, Susanne Büdenhöler-Boms from the Mönchengladbach Women's Counseling Center and Sabine Pesch, Chief Detective Inspector for Victim Protection at the Mönchengladbach Police Department for their participation and the insights they shared into their work and experiences

The event was conceived and organized by Dr. Sandra Laumen and Jacqueline Kiefer from the Equal Opportunities Department, Beate Brungs from the Soroptimists Mönchengladbach, Daniela Dienst from Zonta I Mönchengladbach and Traute Dornieden from Zonta II Mönchengladbach.
