With the Picknick Club, we are bringing a weekly, free after-study/after-work format to Mönchengladbach. Every Wednesday from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. in Geropark, local DJs from different genres provide the right sound for the end of the day.

The event is explicitly aimed at everyone. The concept is deliberately low-threshold: bring your own drinks, friends &
(picnic) blanket - no obligation to consume, no entry fee. Just listen to music together and spend the evening in the park.

Please note: Leave no trace - take your rubbish back with you to keep the park clean!

Long Evening of Student Advice: Open, uncomplicated, personal - answers about studies

Are you about to finish school and still have no idea what you want to study?
Or do you have questions about applications, registration, financing or simply how everything actually works with studies?

Then the Long Evening of Student Advice is the right place for you! In cooperation with the Ministry of Culture and Science (MKW), the Central Student Advice Centres of all NRW universities are inviting you to exchange ideas at the same time, including at The Hochschule Niederrhein, of course!

Following the positive re-registration of "Technology for Grandparents" in previous years, the series of events will also be advanced in 2026.

"Technology for Grandparents" is aimed at grandparents, parents and other interested adults as well as (grand)children and aims to make technical and scientific topics accessible across generations.

Four thematically independent modules will be offered in 2026. Participation is free of charge.
