NIERS - Niederrhein Institute for Regional and Structural Research

The task of the institute is to conduct application-oriented and policy advising regional research. The specialisations of this research are socio-economic topics and questions of regional structural change. Furthermore, all aspects of "regional sustainability" in the sense of a holistic view of economic, ecological and social changes are relevant.
