During the conference, he had the opportunity to present preliminary research results on the cooperation of actors within the regional innovation system for a bioeconomy. The research work is based on 21 interviews with actors from and around the Rhenish mining area and examines cooperation dynamics with a view to networks and institutions. The research results were achieved as part of the AUFBRUCH graduate cluster.
In the AUFBRUCH project, NIERS is focussing on the transition to a sustainable bioeconomy in the Rhenish mining area and on the general (regional) economic aspects and effects of a bioeconomy. Further information can be found here.
