Leading Ladies in Town, a Krefeld-based initiative to support professional and leadership women, is providing highly qualified mentors. Female students have until 10/28-22 to apply to be a mentee. After a successful application, ten female students will each be matched with a mentor who will be their contact person and coach for all career-related issues. The project is supported by Dr. Röhnelt (coach and trainer for women in leadership), Ms. Haberland-Hoffmann (former manager and equal opportunity officer of Sparkasse Krefeld), Ms. Brungs (MINT FORUM/Mentoring of HSNR) and Dr. Laumen (equal opportunity officer of HSNR). If you are interested in an application, female students can contact Prof. Dr. Ralf Kampker.
The other two pillars of the women's advancement concept are contact with role models to present successful female role models to students and networking events to give female students access to networks.
The next event will take place on October 27 from 4 to 6 p.m.. Then there will be answers to the question: "Wanting children and a career - how can the two be combined?".
