The dry spell is over: from now on, all university members can help themselves to fresh drinking water free of charge from the still water dispensers on the campus – a new dispenser has now also been installed on the ground floor of the S Building (in front of room S E01).
The water dispensers provide chilled or room-temperature still water, as well as sparkling water, and are available at the following locations:
Locations on the Mönchengladbach campus
- Corridor area of the main auditorium between lecture halls V1 and V2
- Building G: Cafeteria in the basement
- Building O: Entrance area – main entrance, ground floor
- Building S: Corridor area on the ground floor in front of S E01
Hygiene and usage guidelines
The drinking water dispensers are serviced regularly, and compliance with all hygiene standards is continuously monitored. Please treat the equipment with care:
- Please use only suitable reusable bottles.
- Avoid unnecessary water consumption.
- Please contact the caretakers if you encounter any technical problems.
Contributing to sustainability
As well as providing a supply of fresh drinking water, the university aims to reduce plastic waste. For this reason – and for hygiene reasons – the dispensers may only be used with suitable reusable bottles.
