During the visit, the students were given an insight into the creation of so-called social objects - creative works that are developed in collaboration with local people. The aim of this way of working is to create an aesthetic of togetherness through joint design.
During the exchange, the combination of artistic practice, communication design and participatory processes was discussed. There was also a short practical session in which the students were able to realise their own ideas.
The project shows how valuable collaboration between business, the creative industry and universities can be. The visit made it clear how these areas can benefit from each other and provide impetus for future projects.
Special thanks go to Titus Zwirner for his support in organising the visit.
