Women with ambitions need role models. And they need networks. This was demonstrated by the current "Leading Ladies in Town" event at the Hochschule Niederrhein.

At the second May event, predominantly female students from the Faculty of Industrial Engineering met four top-class speakers on the topic of "Success Stories of Successful Women / Role Models". Kerstin Abraham, Anna Lichtmann, Bettina Pöhler and Dr. Ute Redeker reported with humor and openness on their personal path to top management. In the subsequent roundtable discussion, they gave many tips on professional topics such as career entry, coaching, retirement provisions and salary negotiations. But private matters such as partnership and children also came up in the discussion. On October 27, the event continues with a workshop entitled "Desire for children and career - how can the two be combined?

The next event will take place from 4 to 6 p.m. on October 27. Then there will be answers to the question: "The desire to have children and a career - how can the two be combined?
