The Hochschule Niederrhein campus has a long history with the textile industry. On the T-shirt, a connection between this past and new influences is made clear.

There is a sketch of the original university building, which was made by a team in the semester projects. The illustration is combined with further icons, which are supposed to express what the university and especially the faculty 07 stands for today.

The textile industry ranks fourth in terms of impact on the environment and climate, and third in water and land use. The "CHANGE" on the front is a call to be the change and transform the textile and apparel industry. Also highlighted are "HN" standing for The Hochschule Niederrhein. Sustainability always plays a decisive role in teaching education. Skills are learned to drive ecological and digital change in the industry.

The shirts are produced from organic cotton and will be able to be used multiple times due to a rental system and the neutral design. Thus, the shirts will always be re-issued and can be used for different events.
