This online registration for SWST for higher semesters is a prerequisite for participation. To do so, please complete and submit this form.

All students in the Bachelor's degree programmes must obtain a course attendance certificate (abbreviated in the module list: attendance certificate) in the first semester.
Among other things, this certificate is also required to participate in the course Projects in the 5th semester.
All students who have not yet taken the SWST or have not successfully completed it can make up for it in the coming winter semester. To do so, register for the upcoming winter semester using the form by 31.8. of the respective summer semester at the latest.
The SWST includes the independent preparation for the word test with video tutorials (moodle), word test and group work library research with subsequent group presentation. Here, each group member presents a part of the group work live on the computer.
Please note that the SWST starts during the introduction week of the winter semester. Here the group allocation for the library research takes place. You will also receive general information about the SWST, information about the time schedule of the SWST and an introduction to the library during the introductory week.
