Around 60 first-year students have started a full-time course with an orientation semester.
For one semester, they get to know the departments of Chemistry, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Mechanical and Process Engineering and Industrial Engineering. In the projects and courses, they can find out what really excites them and suits them. Only then do they decide on one of eight Bachelor's degree courses.

The team of the amateur radio station DF0FN of the faculty invites everyone interested to get to know the exciting topic of amateur radio and communication around the world. On the occasion of the Europe Day on 5.5.2023, many universities that have a radio station will exchange information and enable young people to make contact in this somewhat different way.
