A new type of shoe collection is created from high-quality unused leather from the Josef Heinen GMBH & Co KG leather factory in Wegberg.
Project team 8 developed a sustainable, innovative and high-quality shoe collection from unused leather. This includes three sustainable shoe models, which were manufactured by trade and supplemented by 3D printing. The collection was developed as part of a fictitious start-up and consists of a heeled shoe, a boot and a ballerina. The skilled trades sector was realised in collaboration with master orthopaedic shoemaker Urban Oymanns from Oymanns Orthopädie & Maßschuhtechnik.
The models presented show how sustainability, nature, trade, innovation and creativity are combined in a stylish collection.
