With around 12,948 students (as of winter term 24/25), The Hochschule Niederrhein is one of the largest and best-performing universities of applied sciences in Germany. At the three locations on the Krefeld South Campus, Krefeld West Campus and Mönchengladbach Campus, students are spread across 78 Bachelor's and 34 Master's degree programmes in nine faculties. 909 employees - including 244 professors - ensure close supervision and practical orientation and applied teaching education.
Research plays a special role at The Hochschule Niederrhein as a university of applied sciences: it is practical and application-orientated.
