Series of events: Work-life balance

Event series "Keeping a balance: Work-life balance in academia".

Working in teaching education at a university requires a high level of commitment and time commitment. Keeping a good balance between professional demands - preparing courses, supervising students, conducting research projects - and time for family and personal interests can be a real challenge.

To address this important issue at the Hochschule Niederrhein and to open up a space where you can exchange ideas with other colleagues about the framework conditions, personal strategies and necessary support, Equality invites you to a series of lunch meetings during the winter semester.

Three consecutive events will be held at each of the two university locations, where various aspects of the topic will be discussed and explored in greater depth.

The workshops will focus on the following topics.

# Opportunities and limitations: What factors affect your good work-life balance? What influence do the general conditions at the Hochschule Niederrhein have in this regard?
# Good practice: What solutions have you found for managing your time and coping with multiple demands? | Personal strategies for a good balance.
# Resources: What support can you / would you like to access to help you achieve a better balance?
# Perspectives: Which impulses from the workshops should be carried further into the university?
