A unique feature of the Master's degree programme in International Management, which is taught in English, is the compulsory phase abroad - either a semester of study or an internship - for all students in the third semester.
English language skills at level B2 are required, as the degree program is taught in English throughout.
Although the content of the Master's degree programme is based on the Business Administration and Economics courses offered by the Faculty of Business Administration and Economics at The Hochschule Niederrhein, it is also open to graduates of comparable business administration and economics courses.
By teaching theory-based and application-oriented content, students are enabled to recognize and analyze processes and problems of business practice in an international environment, to develop economically justified solutions and to take into account extracurricular references.
Furthermore, the students' professional, methodological and social skills are to be further developed with a view to their future career opportunities.
Our graduates often take up management positions in an international context after completing their studies. In principle, the Master's degree qualifies students for a doctorate in order to pursue an academic career.
