Florian Grebe was represented at this year's winter seminar of the Society for Regional Science (GfR) from 16 February to 21 February 2025 in Matrei (East Tyrol). He presented the paper "The role of regional innovation actors in social innovations", which he is working on together with Angelika Krehl. The paper deals with the questions of who so-called innovation actors are, what resources they provide and how the matching between them and social innovations takes place. From this, (political) recommendations for action for shaping and strengthening the regional social innovation landscape will then be derived.
We would like to thank you for your valuable input and exciting discussions. We also look forward to welcoming many old and new faces to the GfR Summer Conference at the end of June, which is being organised by NIERS this year.
The above-mentioned paper is part of the BMBF project R³, which NIERS is carrying out together with SO.CON (further information on the project website).
