Discover employers in the region We’ll take you by bus to two exciting companies in the Germany-Netherlands border region: you can explore Rhenus Road (NL) and Quack & Fischer (D) as potential employers for engineering and business graduates and make initial contacts.
After all, your job opportunities after your studies don’t stop at the border with the Netherlands! During the bus journey, members of the GrenzArbeit team will provide you with impartial information about living and working in the border region. www.grenzarbeit.eu/venlo
The tour is organised in cooperation with the HSNR Career Service.
- It is free of charge and lunch will be provided
- The information sessions and guided tours at Quack & Fischer and Rhenus Road will be held in German
- First come, first served: there are only 20 places, which will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Please wear sturdy footwear on the day of the event. This is a prerequisite for taking part.
- Meeting point: Krefeld South Campus car park
- Punctual departure: The tour starts at 8.45 am – the bus cannot wait!
By registering with us, you agree that your surnames and shoe sizes (solely for the purpose of taking part in the guided tours) will be passed on to the companies Quack & Fischer and Rhenus Road so that they can register you and thereby grant you access to their premises. Please send us your shoe size by 20 October to workshops(at)hs-niederrhein.de.
Register via HiO by 19 October at the latest.
Take part in the Career Challenge! Attend two workshops run by the Career Service during Campus Week, and complete a learning pathway on Moodle and register by 3 November 2026 at workshops(at)hs-niederrhein.de by 3 November 2026, stating that you have completed the Challenge. This will put you in the prize draw! Prizes include, amongst other things, Campus Shop vouchers worth €50, a CV review and a professional headshot session at the Career Service. Good luck!
