12.04.2026 All day

Apply now for the meet! Tour 2026 application now!

Application phase: 1 March to 12 April 2026, 11.59 pm

meet! is going into another round: The new application phase for the meet! - Mercator Europe Tour starts - and this year the meet! Tour takes us to Warsaw! Stiftung Mercator is awarding 20 places to committed young people from NRW who want to think outside the box and have not yet had the opportunity for a longer, independent stay abroad.

The meet! - Mercator Europe Tour provides a fully funded insight into the diversity of Europe: we take you on a journey and support you in your first international steps.
For many professions today, experience abroad and foreign language skills are a prerequisite. However, they not only offer an advantage on the labour market later on. Thinking outside the box can help you to get to know your own strengths anew, jump over your shadow and gain important experience for the rest of your life.

With meet! we enable you to take a first look outside the box and invite you to get to know Europe and the world of international cooperation in several seminars and a short-term internship over the summer.

We particularly welcome applications from young adults who have different life experiences: be it through a non-academic environment and/or being the first in their families to graduate from high school or university, chronic illnesses, a history of flight and migration, experiences of racism, anti-Semitism or other experiences of discrimination and marginalisation.
