In our Student Advice Podcast, Leona Goertz and Maja Dachtera talk about everything to do with studies and starting your studies. How do I find my dream course of study, how do I finance it, and what does student life actually entail?

The podcast is expected to appear once a month. The two hosts work at the University's Central Student Advice Office. There they advise prospective students and are therefore real experts in this field.

They address many topics that are frequently requested in the counseling sessions. Through the podcast format, you have the opportunity to deal with the topic of choosing a course of study on longer trips or while doing housework. Tools for study orientation, decision-making processes and student life at the university as well as everything else that moves the two of them and you come up for discussion. They also invite guests who report on the university from different perspectives and give helpful tips for a good start to your studies and beyond.

Kaffeepause, Hochschulleben in 15 Minuten (Coffee Break, University Life in 15 Minutes) is a podcast about university life at the Hochschule Niederrhein. Here you will find topics from the university: from students, university teachers / lecturers and scientists as well as from the administration of the university. The coffee break is made for students, for prospective students and for companies that want an insight into university life. We report on theses, research projects and exciting stories from the studies.

The coffee break is a podcast project, which is fully implemented by students of the lecture Social Media by Professor Dr. Jürgen Karla.
