Post-Migrant Audiovisuals Film Club: ‘Not an Animal. So Wild.’

Are you interested in the topic of SOCIAL JUSTICE and looking for a space to share experiences, explore ideas and reflect together?

The Post-Migrant Audiovisuals FILMCLUB will take place on four Thursdays during the 25/26 winter semester and will explore the concept of ‘post-migrant’ from various perspectives.

The programme continues on Thursday 27 November at 6.30 pm with the drama
“Kein Tier. So Wild.”(Germany, 2024). Set in a modern-day context and loosely based on Shakespeare’s “Richard III”, the film tells the story of Rashida York amidst a criminal parallel world between the York and Lancaster clans.

Among other things, the film explores themes such as power and intrigue, gender identity, trauma and background, as well as culture and identity.

Following the screening, we’d like to discuss the film with you and explore its connections to post-migrant reality and
social work.

Fancy a special film experience? Then see you on Thursday at 6.30 pm in Lecture Theatre V1!
Admission to the events is ALWAYS free.
